It was lovely to meet with you.I have been “stuck” for about 4 years so it was great to see the different possibilities you have come up with to solve our light problem. Brian was particularly pleased with the idea of swapping the kitchen round!!I was happy too with your suggestion re concentrating on kitchen/living area, tips re lay-out of furniture, opening doors in the opposite direction, etc.Your comment that painted wooden doors will “still be wooden doors underneath” is inspiring. I have had a mental block about painting them: my father is a carpenter/craftsman, so having grown up with an appreciation of wood, I have been very reluctant to paint the doors.Again, Eva thanks your your ideas and for giving me the confidence to move forward: your pictures paint a thousand words……May 2010
